Community United Methodist Church - Warehouse Youth Center
- This project involved construction of a new youth center. Elements of work included structural framing, sandwich board exterior walls with stucco finish, metal roof over wood trusses and interior finishes including gypsum wallboard systems, vinyl composition tile and clear span ceilings. Room types included conference rooms, meeting rooms, offices, kitchen, restrooms and specialty rooms.

Corinth Baptist Church Classroom Building
- The scope of this project involved design and construction of a 45’ x 100’ pre-engineered metal building to be used as a classroom building. White Sands Construction was responsible for site preparation and site utilities including water, sewer, electricity, gas and communications. The metal building was erected on a concrete slab and required structural framing of the exterior walls and roof structure. Exterior doors, windows and metal wall and roof panels were installed. The inside of the exterior walls were furred out using metal studs with bat insulation being placed between the studs and surfaced with sheetrock. Interior walls were also created using metal studs faced on both sides with gypsum wall board creating an office, eleven classrooms, restrooms and other common areas. Ceilings were constructed using metal grids with acoustical ceiling tiles. Metal doors with glass viewers were used in all area except for restrooms. Flooring types included vinyl composition tile and ceramic tile. Building systems included water, waste water, communications and electrical. Exterior work included site improvements including sidewalks and landscaping using native plantings.
