Alamogordo Public Library - Pergola

Alamogordo Public Library Restroom Renovations
- The work will consist of saw cutting existing concrete slab, removing and replacing existing restroom fixtures, restroom accessories and floor tile, painting and appurtenances, as specified and/or shown on the construction documents, complete, in place, all within the city limits of Alamogordo, New Mexico.

Alamogordo Public Schools - Kitchen Renovations
- Renovation of 11 School kitchens over the summer to meet code - completed in 80 days. One of the kitchens needed structural repairs with helical piers as well. A special epoxy floor was installed at all kitchens.

Alamogordo Readiness Center
- Alamogordo Readiness Center – 9,662 SF addition to the existing 14,750 sq. ft. armory building, including all site work, located at 1600 S Florida Road, Alamogordo, NM, to create a new Readiness Center for the NM Army National Guard. Project to obtain LEED Silver Certification (or higher level) from the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). The exterior of the Addition consists of a one-story steel structure with non-load bearing reinforced Concrete Masonry Unit (CMU) exterior walls with continuous rigid insulation between the CMU and interior gypsum board on metal stud furr-out; single-ply TPO roof system over tapered rigid insulation; insulated hollow-metal doors; and aluminum curtain-wall window and entrance door frame systems with AT/FP compliant laminated insulated glass. Interior construction to consist of new non-bearing gypsum board on metal stud walls; solid-core wood and hollow metal doors; suspended lay-in acoustical ceilings; durable floor and wall finishes; and new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, telecommunications and security systems. Site work to include grading and drainage for elevated addition, new drainage detention pond, security fencing and vehicle gates, asphalt paved parking and drive areas, non-paved military vehicle parking area, accessible concrete pedestrian walkways, routes and parking spaces. The addition and remodeling project will add over 9,662 square feet to the current structure, bringing the total to 24,412 square feet. The new facility will provide a more modern facility with training classrooms and offices for the Soldiers of D Company, 1st Battalion, 200th Infantry. The new Alamogordo Readiness Center will incorporate the latest technologies to enable it to be certified as Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) at the Silver level by the U.S. Green Building Council. The environmentally friendly building will greatly reduce the cost of utilities throughout the expected life cycle of the project.
